TD Side Table—S.T,N.E.

I made this side table out of a simple need: when sitting on the sofa with coffee or whiskey, I wanted a small place to set things down.

Its compact size makes it easy to move around and place wherever you like.

It can hold flowers, serve as an extra stool when unexpected guests turn up, or even stand in as a small step.

It turns out to be useful in many ways.

At first glance it may look like nothing more than boards put together, but in fact it’s made from three subtly different thicknesses of wood.

It comes in two sizes, S and L.

And when the two stand together side by side, they have a quiet charm of their own.
