Table Lamp T-HS1
Both the shade and the base are formed using a metalworking technique known as hera-shibori — a process in which a tool is pressed by hand against spinning metal to shape it. This method creates smooth, unembellished lines, and though simple, it carries a quiet warmth born of handcraft.
The metal shade casts a gentle light over your hands, with a soft and subdued reflection. A switch is placed on the base, positioned so that even in the dark, you can easily find it by touch — a small but thoughtful detail for everyday use.
The lamp is available in two materials: brass and aluminum. Brass develops a rich, subdued patina over time, offering a calm presence even when unlit. Aluminum gradually loses its sheen with use, taking on a matte texture and deepening in character.
It is a lamp that balances rational functionality as a tool with the quiet pleasure of watching its material mature over time.
