I designed and built a house, made the furniture to fill it, took the photographs, and wrote the text. In less than three months, we somehow managed to create a 200-page book. What started as just the idea of making a small booklet for the Tokyo exhibition turned into something far beyond what I had imagined.

It has now been 28 years since I started TRUCK in 1997.I’ve always made furniture the way I’ve wanted to. And over the past few years, I’ve been thinking that I would like to make furniture just like I did in the beginning.
