Havana Dining Table

Ever since I made the HAVANA TABLE, its ease of use left my daily life thoroughly “Havanized” for a while. But sometimes, the HAVANA size just wasn’t enough. There were days when I needed not only another HAVANA, but even an extra table altogether. So, without dragging my feet, I decided to create a proper dining version—the HAVANA DINING TABLE.Measuring a balanced Φ900mm in diameter and 700mm in height, it’s neither too large nor too small. The round tabletop had to remain steady, never wobbling or tipping easily, even if someone pressed down firmly on one side while standing up. I tested the leg length repeatedly until I found the right point, while also keeping the overall balance in mind and strengthening the way the top was supported. At last, I arrived at a solution that felt right.

And yet, for some reason, I forgot about its existence for a while. Until one day, it suddenly came alive when placed in front of the camera. Paired with the HAVANA ARM CHAIR, finished in JACK BROWN, it truly shone. As I photographed them together, my excitement grew—I kept pressing the shutter more times than necessary.
