In Spanish, aura is pronounced “ah-ooh-rah.” It means “aura,” and in a more poetic sense, “breeze.”

A bed inevitably takes up space in a room, but this one is designed to soften its presence and simply offer comfort—like a gentle breeze.

At TRUCK, the FK SOFA is loved for making people “fall asleep without realizing it.” Inspired by that, I created the AURA BED.

The feather cushions of the headboard feel like a sofa, perfect for reading or watching Netflix. Kvadrat’s fabric combines softness with a dry, airy touch, raising comfort to another level.

For years I thought mattresses should be firm, but I’ve since learned that a well-made one with slight softness can be incredibly pleasant. Even with a 280mm mattress, the low 400mm height from the floor makes the room feel more spacious.

In the S.T,N.E. showroom, it’s paired with a British wool bed pad for extra comfort—the same setup I use at home. It’s so comfortable you’ll want to close your eyes and drift into sleep.
